The core team at MathArena currently consists of nine people who contribute their expertise from a wide range of fields:<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to focusing on mathematics, didactics and software development as part of the (further) development of our app, we focus on internal and external communication, computational thinking, pedagogically and learning-psychologically valuable AI development and school development. <\/span><\/p>\n

We share our knowledge and new findings within the team, in our other fields of work and in scientific circles in order to advance the still relatively new field of digital teaching media in the best possible way. Gerald Infanger is the idea generator and managing director of MathArena. After completing his studies in mathematics, theology and psychology, he founded a learning institute in 2016 with a focus on students with learning difficulties. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Since 2013, Gerald has been working in parallel on his vision of educational equality for all.<\/p>

Since the idea for MathArena, he has invested creativity and idealism in the continuous development of the globally usable math learning app. More than 40,000 organically generated downloads have prompted him to take the step of founding an EdTech company in 2021. <\/p>

Eva-Maria is the managing director and head of research at MathArena. As a trained teacher of mathematics and theology at secondary level, she is realizing the idea for the learning app “MathArena” in addition to her various fields of work. In her research in the PhD program at the Linz School of Education, she is primarily concerned with “adaptive learning difficulties”. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Her freelance work in the field of learning support, psychological learning counseling and teacher training keeps her in close contact with the app’s target group – namely students, to whom she brings mathematics alive and brings it closer, and their supervising teachers.<\/p>

Doris is a full-stack software developer with a flair for visual design. She acquired her programming skills at the FH-Hagenberg in the Software Engineering program. Doris is at home in the backend and frontend. As a “problem solver”, Doris does not only deal with the technical aspect. Chris studied Software Engineering at the FH Upper Austria Campus Hagenberg and can look back on almost 15 years of professional experience in this field. David’s passion is developing technologies that help enable high-quality, sustainable education for all. Through his experience in research projects on educational technologies and his current studies in artificial intelligence, he is convinced that targeted data analysis can significantly improve learning experiences. Joakim gained experience in web development as a young Swedish blond boy using Microsoft FrontPage 97.
